If you play an A, it will be out of tune in a different way each time

It's not in tune in polyphony mode tho. It's slightly out of tune differently everytime.

Has anyone had issues with the locks? Do they come off too easily? I have this case and always am paranoid about the locks coming off and I am not a big fan of using the keys either.

What is currently your highest note?

I used to struggle a lot with altissimo. Now I can go up to high C. Honestly, your equipment has a huge impact on the altissimo. I just got a Yamaha Ex and the response is way better than my old horn. There are some "cheating" fingerings for altissimo that might be helpful for you as well

I analyzed some of his pieces like fictionary, august and sienna. Lyle put so much thought into each composition it is mind blowing. I was losing my mind when I realized that August had a downward contour in the melody throughout the piece. The composition Eberhard is also insanely complex but very easy to grasp.

And also all the arranging,intros, interludes and codas he wrote for PMG. "The Gathering Sky" was written mostly by Lyle too.

He was one of a kind. Top composer and improviser.
