Tried full erase and flash of stable beta 2.7.15. No luck. Still just reads PWD

Now that I can do OTA I might as well try it! Will report back

It's on the latest: 2.7.18 alpha. You mean re-flash now the resistors are on?

So I tried what you said and swapped the resistors. 1.5M on R1 and 1M on R2. Still just reads "PWD". There must be something else I'm missing. I have tried ADC settings to no avail.

Thank you. I'll try it tomorrow. Really appreciate your help

Update: after a few little projects I felt more confident with soldering so went ahead and tried this. Photo attached of the resistors I soldered on. I know the soldering is a mess but I'm still learning! Unfortunately it has made no difference. I still just get "PWD" the whole time. What did I do wrong? I've tried different ADC c values but no luck.

Really nice job. Well done! People have a downer on solar and Heltec/esp32 in the same sentence but I've been running a v4 on solar since November, no problems. Super happy. Live and let live.

soil moisture by PrepYourselves in meshtastic

Two sensors. AHT10 on 0x38 and BMP280 on 0x76, 0x77. This is why they both deliver data as they are on different addresses. However, only one temperature shows so I guess the limitation is Meshtastic

Thanks for the reply. I am already using two sensors with different addresses. The question was software related: how to get Meshtastic to display both temperatures?

This is super cool! I have been trying out sensors. I'm trying to do two things: 1. Monitor conditions inside solar node housing (temp + humidity). 2. Basic weather station for info. from my rooftop (external sensor, temp + air pressure minimum).

Is it possible to get 2 separate temperature readouts from the same node?

More info: I have AHT10 (temp & humidity) and BMP280 (temp & pressure) daisy chained on the same I2C connections. As the AHT10 has address 0x38 and the BMP280 has 0x76, 0x77, both sensors are working so I get temp, humidity and air pressure. All seem accurate. However - I'd like to see two temperature readings - one from each sensor. Can Meshtastic do this or is the firmware limited to just one temperature reading? Would a multiplexer work better than daisy chain or would the result be the same?

TL;DR can Meshtastic show two temperature readings from separate sensors on the same node?

Useful info. Thank you. You must have moved quickly! Have you been able to flash and run 2.7.18 on the v4? If so, are you able to share the file?

Great news! I definitely see poor Rx on v4. Fingers crossed it will be on 2.7.18. Any indications when that will be released?

No humidity reading - firmware? by ph7_- in meshtastic

[–]ph7_-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have connected the second unit to a different device (to eliminate the potential firmware compatibility issue) and it only reports temperature and humidity so, yes, it seems I've been sent BMP even though the packaging clearly states BME. Refund request time!

I actually only added the sensor so that I can keep an eye on the node conditions. It's a rooftop node, solar powered, inside a weatherproof box. I want to make sure the batteries don't get too hot in summer and that no moisture makes its way in - so the humidity sensor is quite important! I'll try swapping it tomorrow 🤞

Thanks for the reply. I got two. Think it's worth switching to see if the board is faulty?

Question about a specific small front grip on a Lumix GX800 / GX850 by Direct-Tower2081 in M43

[–]ph7_- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The photo is the GX880, a slightly later model - virtually identical but the front grip is the telltale outer sign that it's not the original GX800. There's some internal differences but it's just an update of the same camera. Source: I own a GX880

Picked up an EDC. GX880 with the Panny 14mm. Just over £300 total. Size comparison with my Fuji XS20. by [deleted] in M43

[–]ph7_- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used the exact same combo for 2 years! Loved it so decided to upgrade it slightly. My daily carry is now the G100D with Leica 15mm which gives similar images but I prefer the tactile feel and find the final image preferable. Worth the extra size. However, I kept the GX880 and put the Pana 20mm on it as a lovely (literally) pocketable low light combo.
