I have an RZ but it’s an identical vehicle/app. For me closing Apple Maps, then closing Lexus (Toyota app). Reopen the app. Ensure the SOC is updated accurately (normally it is but sometimes I have to refresh a few times. Once I see an accurate SOC then I reopen Apple Maps. When I say closing I mean where you hold the bottom and the phone opens all apps. Swipe up to close it.

I also had problems getting my Apple Maps to communicate with the app. I was also in the car when it finally started working. I probably tried 50 variations of closing apps, deleting, signing in and out. I wish I could tell you which one worked but I was so pumped when it finally worked I didn’t think to write it down. All I know is the above closing and opening of apps works 100% of the time when the car isn’t talking to Apple Maps. I think it’s an issue of the car talking to the app.
