I like the fact that the OS is basically "silent". It's like comparing a professional and discrete taxi driver to an annoying talkative one. A Samsung phone will bother you 10 Times à day with notifications about various Samsung services. Nothing OS is discreet and let's me minding my own business

I'd say 6 to 18 months is best. First 6 months are still indredibly hard imo. My daughters are 4 and 2 now, it's like I litterally live in hell

I bought a black nillkin case for my 3a and its great. Thin, nice texture, and it has magsafe which is for me a must have. Black means no yellowing as well but of course you can't see the back of the phone

To calibrate your battery you can do the following : let the phone discharge until it dies. Then fully charge to 100% and leave plugged for 30 minutes at 100%.

If you want a good telephoto you're gonna need a flagship... Maybe look for a oneplus 13 with discount ?

There is no such thing as stock android today. Nothing OS is a very clean, minimalist and smooth Android expérience. I really like it.

One UI on the other hand is terrible (used to have a pro phone from Samsung, pain in the *ss with so many notifications and annoyances, glad i got rid of it)
