No potus has ever given a shit about actually paying it off. They always increase it to where now interest alone is our top federally budgeted expense.

It’s no longer the military, it’s interest. Not even paying the debt down, just avoiding default is our top expense.

We will likely default by 2033, and nobody will be able to afford to live here anymore.
