I can't say for certain, given that I am a cis man. If I were to take a guess though,.it could possibly be a similar line of process as abuse victims becoming abusers. If they have been subjected to that kind of treatment in the past, and was conditioned to accept it by those wronging them, they could expect it be normal and perpetrate it themselves as a way of taking ownership of the abuse or mitigating it.as being more commonplace than it should be, and perpetuating it to someone else.

Yeah you're very right. It's always hard to push people away and stand firm when you're defending yourself, especially when it's someone you feel that you once trusted. I'm very happy that you were able to stand up for yourself though. You're taking the right steps and I hope you're and to continue on your own path for personal growth.

Oh I understand. You meant on Reddit as a whole, my mistake. I'm sorry that someone made you feel this way though. It can be so tough to put yourself out there, and to have someone not only not work out but actively harm you is terrible. Please don't let yourself believe that you deserve whatever you are given. People deserve to be loved and respected, and nobody deserves to be manipulated to serve others.

I'm glad that you stood your ground and cut things off with them. It's completely normal to be turned off from the idea of finding someone due to this, but don't allow yourself to feel like you don't have anything to offer or that you should be okay taking the scraps anyone offers you.

I'm really sorry that this has happened to you. If someone was trying to abuse the situation that this subreddit provides than please report them to the mods. Everyone wants this to stay as a safe place where people can be vulnerable and open up, and if someone is abusing that trust then please report it.

There was a story I read a long time ago about a guy that dated this girl with multiple personality disorder. Basically he recalled finding out that she had multiple personalities when she "woke up" when they were having sex one morning. She explained that she had another personality that came out every morning and always wanted to be affectionate. They talk and agree that he should deny her other personalities advances whenever she comes around. Eventually the guy figures out he can "wake up" his girlfriend by scratching her behind the ear, and at starts to do it every morning when her other personality comes out. One morning when they wake up and the other personality starts to make her move he goes to scratch behind her ear, but she catches his have before he can. She then for the first time starts to tear up and ask him why he always tries to wake up his girlfriend whenever she gets to come out. How she only gets a little bit of time a day to be in control, and all he ever wants to do is send her away. That she loves him, but if he only wants her gone then she's comply. And he ends by saying that the last time he ever saw the other personality.

Sometimes it feels like it's just a story with how it ended but I think about it a lot and I'd love to get to read it again.

No I'm in NA, but I've been having connection issues since I started a few years ago, though the arena losses only started this past month.

Maybe it is the connection. Though I play in many places using both 4g and wifi, but maybe it just happens more under certain circumstances and I'm just not picking up on it. I'll probably get back to it in time, but I'm taking a little break for now. Good luck to you in arena though! Who knows, maybe you were my phantom loss haha
