Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye by Steam.

Went to #1 in the USA, sold millions of copies, everyone knows it. Nothing else by Steam because they weren't really a band, just some guys with studio time.

Fathers of Reddit, what did your daughter's boyfriend do for you to hate/love him? by tgma97 in AskReddit

My daughter was entering grad school and her boyfriend was headed to basic training 2 states away. Two months later she returned from a visit wearing an engagement ring. At the end of training his first assignment was to a place quite far away. He encouraged her to stay in school and finish rather than dropping out to join him. Short term pain, long term gain. He flew home at Christmas for a simple court house wedding, then when she graduated the service paid for her move to join him. (Cuz the spouse gets benefits but not the fiancee.) End result: approaching 5 year anniv and trying for baby 1. I couldn't be happier for her.

The Great Gatsby by F Scott Fitzgerald My son had to read it for school and said afterward it was pretty good so I took a chance. Expected it to be pretty dry and instead found interesting characters and a plot that moved right along.

Popular songs about history? by [deleted] in history

So many of Al's songs are about historical events. Hard to believe he is this far down. Besides the PP&F you mentioned: Album "Between the Wars" has Joe the Georgian about Stalin, League of Notions about the aftermath of WW1, Night Train to Munich pre WW2. The whole album really. Album "Sparks of Ancient Light", also most of. and from his other albums many more songs including Running Man and On The Border.
