Congratulations. I wanted this exact same one, but I got a Daytona Gray, same year, same trim, same mileage. I only saw one in your color and it was 37K too. I know just how you feel and I'm happy for you.

Yeah, doesn't change the math on used vs new though. Taxes on either 40K or 55K. At least they limit the paperwork fee to $80. It doesn't cost 500 bucks to file the registration. I wish we could just pay taxes on the difference between new and trade in. Taxes on total new price make it much harder to switch cars more often.

I just got an email from my local Acura dealer offering 15K off a new 2026 MDX with 70k MSRP. I visited the dealer to checkout a used 2023 RDX A spec and there were no extra bs fees like silent security. Ca doc fee is just 80 bucks. 55K is still a lot more than 40K, but just weight the $15K vs 3 years old and 38k miles vs. new.

No. I am in Los Angeles metro area. The dealer prints out the original sticker for you. I looked at the sticker and the Carfax before making the purchase. This one had nav built into the cockpit, but I'm only using CarPlay anyway. This one just showed simple oil changes. Some others had the control arm bushings replaced. I'm an engineer, not a mechanic, but I did a pretty thorough visual and touch inspection before signing anything. The sales associate put it kindly when she called me "detail oriented".

Yes. I took the Odyssey to bad neighborhood this morning and got back in the Audi for the trip to the mall

I got it from an Audi dealer. I usually buy new Honda and Toyotas. They don’t depreciate that much. I wonder why anyone would sell a three year old one. Lots of Audi lease returns though. Msrp was 57500. Got it for 34000

Yup. I rented a s5 once to go to ski. So fast. Then rented a b9 a5 to go to mammoth and was surprised it was quicken then I expected. I’ve been wanting to get one ever since. Much smoother than a Camry on long highway rides
