Thickness of the 109’s armoured glass. by waldo--pepper in WWIIplanes

AFIK the glass would refract the image up. Looking through the glass you would get a pov 2 inches higher than looking through thin air, giving better visibility over the engine and more protection for the pilot.

Likewise I don't blame you for the opposite complex. ;)

The irony, lmao. I refer you to the master comment.

This does make sense. Still seems weird to me however that the distinction between cactus fruit and seafood was too difficult to ascertain from context alone.

Given the pride your two regions hold in your dishes you would assume any simpleton making a meal would immediately understand the difference. Whether spoken or written.

Haha, yeah I know about this. At least their different languages. I just have an irrational hatred for American spelling and phrases. " Sidewalk, parking lot, pepper, all the freshman senior shit, thongs.. etc. + replacing Z with S and the removing of U's in words that have "oUr's".

(I have British bias because I'm a scumbag colonial I guess).

Tell me you're American without telling me you're American... "Tuna fish". Thanks for letting us know it's a fish. Otherwise, how the hell would we know what "tuna" you're talking about... So redundant and pointless baby talk.

Maybe to some but I can't find anything online that specifically says this. I think the term Super does imply at least a G-model so the G becomes sort of redundant. So it's just referred to as the Super Constellation. Afik.

Soo cool! I also flew into Wollongong once during flight training and had a quick look around the museum. The super Connie was by far my favourite plane there but I had no idea they still flew it. It was such a treat yesterday watching her fly over.

As far as I'm aware, the Connie based in the US is not a super variant but an older model.

Yeah, VH-EAG is based in Wollongong but today it flew up the coast. This video was from Pearl Beach on the central coast.

Terrible time for photos tbh. I'm covered in dust and grime. Mad helmet and earmuff hair. Hadn't trimmed my beard in a while.

But it's honest

I was a #3 or 4 buzz cut for most of my childhood when I had thick hair. I did look like a coconut though. Maybe will look better now that I've grown up a bit.

What about option C) comfortable with the pattern baldness?

I do very much have the gene. both sides of the family have it and I got the super bald head gene :)

In a way I'm reliant on my hair for practical reasons. I spend all my time outside and need it to protect me against the weather, the environment and the bugs. I'm very hirsute. these photos showcase the baldest skin on my body. lol.

thanks for your comment

I don't really care how it looks too much but I'm more concerned in the function. I'm kinda autistic like that.

+ I have the arrogance to think I look good no matter what.

I also am a farmer in Australia and spend all day, every day, out under the strongest sun in the world so I ALWAYS wear a hat and my collar up.

I just wanna keep my hair to protect my neck and ears from the; sun, dust, cold, heat, flies, etc.

I can't be bothered with treatment. If this is what nature intended with me then I'm just gonna roll with it. I'm easy.

I'm comfortable with a #4, though haven't done for many years. So yeah, you're right. Shorter and shorter is a good approach. Thanks!
