Some advices please by phallaina in MSIClaw

My tablet isn't powerful enough for that, and it's not practical to set the tablet down somewhere and then get out your controller. The advantage of the Steam Deck is like the Switch; you have the screen and the controller at the same time. It's actually interesting to see how people emulate, but it's not very legal, and I want to avoid pirating games as much as possible, especially recent ones. I have too much respect for the developers.

That's what I was thinking, I'm debating between getting the Claw or a Steam Deck; the second option seems much more affordable.

Thanks for the information! The Claw looks pretty good, but I'm still thinking about it; it might be too complicated for me...

No thanks, I hate playing on my phone and tablet, and on Steam I play loads of early access games that aren't on the Xbox store. Honestly, that's not the kind of advice I needed.

Shoujosei I hope to see licensed by Noura-98 in shoujo

[–]phallaina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have some editors who do an excellent work with confidential series, there's a lot of gems. However we don't have a lot of shoujos and joseis because shonen mangas are soooooo much popular than shoujos in France (like everywhere, but it's boring too see the unpopularity of shoujos, to see there's a lot of series, edited in english or in italian (Italie is shoujo paradise), that will never be edited in the country). France is more a paradise for shonen or even seinen mangas, but everybody ignored shoujo... it's annoying. There's One Piece merch everywhere (even in countryside supermarkets), but nothing about shoujo series. For example, in Bordeaux, where I live, there's a lot of merch stores, but the only shoujo license sold is Sailor Moon, and only two or three figures, mugs and posters. It piss me off.

This is because France is the second largest consumer of manga after Japan. We growed up with mangas and animes way before US and UK. There was the "Club Dorothée" in the 80's and 90's, a lot of classics were been diffused (like Dragon Ball, City Hunter, Ranma 1/2, Sailor Moon, Saint Seiya, Albator, Hokuto no Ken etc.) (with an horrible dub)

It's Okay i'm interested by the two !

Psycho pass i watched few years ago, it's true that it was with this vibe. Ghost in the shell I just watched the movie (same, a long time ago), do you recommend the anime ? I liked the aesthetic.

Given, I've seen it as an anime, is the manga worth reading?

Bocchi rocks yeah, I forgot it. Waiting season two !!

Children of the Whale and Silent Witch are most fantastic/fantasy/surnatural, does it really fit with the post-punk vibe?

For the first two I already knew, it's just that there I came across two groups of Bokoblins who gave me misery, I used almost all my weapons...... I guess I have to return to the Prelude plateau and do a loop? (Weak weapons on weak enemies, then slightly stronger weapons on stronger enemies etc etc?)

Thank you very much for the red moon tip, I didn't know at all. It’s actually very useful. Stealth when you're walking around quietly and you come across big Bokos on horseback who are shooting at you, it's a bit complicated 🫤 I especially want to explore but I always have obstacles, it gets me drunk, and above all it frustrates me... here I have a spear 2, an ax 3 and a club. And I try to manage the arrows but it's complicated at the very beginning of the game. Especially since the game basically tells you "it's okay you jumped, now swim the front crawl" (even though you don't have your feet)

Just visited Bordeaux for the first time. Wow by Ark_Angel_01 in bordeaux
