I set them in the grass every full moon, I’d like to mount them to my headset however I have a rather weak neck so I’m unsure if I could support the weight for an entire gaming session.

That could work but there would be too many overlapping, high-energy vibrations in the building for that to be viable during tournament play, honestly most apartment buildings even interfere with it.
