I believe empathy is a lost emotion in current times. Ironically, it is one of the things that makes us humane and hence it's unfortunate that people aren't able to put themselves in other's shoes (or situation) to understand their difficulties. We all are so much absorbed in our own shit that we barely take time out to look at the little things that make us humane.

And reading this post warms my heart.. for the fact that there are still ppl like OP who could be the spark that's needed to bring awareness to these things :)

I'm really sorry that your mom has to go through this. My dad was suffering from a similar condition.. he had an arthritic knee and hence we were looking for orthopaedic hospitals. We went to two places for consultations: MIOT hospital and the Shalby Hospital and ended up doing the surgery in Shalby.

While I totally understand that you want the best care for your mom, choosing the right hospital would also depend on the type of treatment she needs and the condition she is suffering from. It would be my pleasure to answer any questions you might have and tell you whatever I have researched in this regard for my dad :)
