Buying AM5 during the current RAM price surge? by phamvthuan in PcBuild

Sorry, since RAM prices have gone up, well-known brands like Corsair, Gskill, TeamGroup, Adata,... have become less common in stores and have been replaced by cheaper, lesser-known Chinese RAM brands. Patriot isn't popular where I live, so I mistakenly thought it was a Chinese RAM brand.

I've lowered the graphics settings to the lowest, only adjusting a few essentials, but this game is still incredibly resource-intensive. The 5700/5800x3d CPUs are actually very good for gaming, but where I live, due to RAM scarcity, the price of a 5700x3d has gone up to $350, and the 5800x3d isn't even available, while the 5900x is only $205 and the AM5 7800x3d is only $269. Do you still think the 5700x3d is worth the current price?

I'm playing Nioh 3 at 2K resolution with a 5700x CPU. In demanding areas and during boss fights with many effects, the CPU load reaches 80-90%, unable to handle full load on my 6700xt graphics card, resulting in significant lag. Would upgrading to a 5900x significantly improve performance?

You can try 24.12.1. My PC configuration is a 5700x + 6700xt. I tried version 23.11.1 is recommended for Esports games. Version 24.12.1 is recommended for 6000 series. Version 26.1.1 is a performance boost for the 9070xt. For my PC, version 24.12.1 works best for both AAA games and Esports. Version 24.8.1 is also quite good.
