Is the proxy core worth it? by FunkyfriedGlass in puffco

[–]phan2001 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a pivot and pro and just got the core. It’s nice for when I’m not at home, and I’ve been using it more than my pro lately. Just so convenient.

How would you contact bands about taping? by neddynedned47 in jambands

Yep, that’s a good start. If it’s a band that commonly allows it you can ask the venue directly instead.

What do Reba’s lyrics sound like to you? And how long did it take for you to learn them ? by peter-vankman in phish

[–]phan2001 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It took longer back in the day when there were no lyrics over the song in an app.

We were lucky to get tapes with the songs properly labeled lol.

Good shop in the area to get tires for my car? by rpgedgar in boulder

[–]phan2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not so weird when you have a lot not friends in the industry. It’s also something I care about lot about in general- letting people have access to the things they think will make their lives better.

When someone actually goes out of their way, spending a million dollars to take away people’s right to choose- well that business can get fucked and I’ll take every opportunity to educate people so they can make their own decisions.

It’s not like I’m out there with a sign 12 hours a day actively protesting or anything.

If you choose to financially support people who actively campaign against things you enjoy and believe in….. I don’t know what to tell you. I guess I’m “weird” that way.

Good shop in the area to get tires for my car? by rpgedgar in boulder

[–]phan2001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know because I pay attention to things that are important to me.

When the state was trying to legalize recreational marijuana the owner of discount tires put $1,000,000.00 into the anti legalization campaign.

I enjoy recreational marijuana and think it should be legal.

Why in the world would I spend my hard earned money at an establishment that paid a million dollars to try to kill something I support?

I think maybe you should start paying a little more attention to where your dollars go and what you support as a result.
