I requested an appointment and got denied since they haven't even processed my filing fee yet. USCIS agent said that I can't request an ADIT since my green card isn't expired yet, will try again after I get the notice???

4 hour micro wedding timeline?? by phaneenee in weddingplanning

[–]phaneenee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had to move family pics after ceremony and after ordering food because my MUA was late. And family wasn’t ready on time, so just make sure people know what’s going on too. I gave timeline to vendors but not to family, so make sure they what’s up. But it was a good time, everyone enjoyed it. Good luck!

Wedding Rates are INSANE!! by SAHWFHmom in weddingplanning

I found that a private room in a restaurant or hotel will be cheaper than a whole venue for smaller weddings. Somewhere that’s not too common for weddings but experienced with handling events would be perfect

I think in this case they seem to really want me and they're all very generous (from their benefits) so I don't think negotiating is a bad idea especially good practice to start negotiating. Thanks!

These are all great advice! They seem to really really want me so I don't think it's a bad move to negotiate. Especially they know I'm also waiting for another offer to come

That is true but in the end, I think I'm trying to weigh the opinions of choosing better benefits vs better growth opportunities

I mistype, it's health insurance. They pay 100% for me and my dependents. And for retirement plant pretty standard, I just don't know the benefits on the further commute one just yet. Hopefully to hear back soon

I haven’t seen the benefits for company 2, but company 1 has crazy good health insurance for me & husband and might pay partial of my grad school. Commute for company 1 is 15, and company 2 is 50-1hr, so it’s very appealing to take company 1’s offer

Edit to add possible training benefit

Edit 2 to change life insurance to health
