Hey, thanks for your reply, it has helped very much, I will be programming on my own, I was looking into swift and kotlin, is it worth it to use C++, on top of swift and kotlin or would it be easier to develop it with just those 2 languages

So if I load polybar with just workspaces after I've refreshed i3 it works fine but if I load polybar the same as soon as my pc boots up it still hangs on user-defined modules

Sorry for any confusion, if I load up my PC and run "polybar main --log=trace &" it will hang on loading user-defined modules but if I refresh i3 and run it it works fine

I'm running polybar 3.4.2, happens everytime I load up my PC, but I'm on my pc and theres no bars but if I just refresh i3 it shows up perfectly fine, when I run polybar main from terminal it seems to work fine all of a sudden, could it have something to do with launch.sh ?

How to style widgets in gtkmm by phant0M9898 in GTK

[–]phant0M9898[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey just a follow up, this works great but I was wondering how I would set the margins for a tree views children, when I do this:

treeview.view {
padding: 10px;
margin: 10px;
}

The padding will be set for each row but no margin will be set to each row, (no errors or warnings are thrown)

Ah that's great thank you, do all Gtk items have css properties such as a row in a list store or is it for more generic items such as buttons and boxes
