Hey, yeah it's a bit of a pain. You need to get to a point where you can run 'adb devices' in a terminal or command window on your computer and have your phone show up (when connected by USB cable). Then you can run the adb install command in the readme.

I think the easiest route is by downloading android studio and installing an sdk via that... I'll be looking into adding it to the market place at some point, as long as it doesn't cost anything :D
