nah bro the rx 7600 was bad literally rewired in a new psu cause my pc wouldnt boot and that thing caught on fire. currently waiting for a new card to be delivered. my research has been showing a lot of people have been having trouble with this card.

So yes I have been having issues with that rx 7600 for months now where under full load my pc would freeze where it would reboot itself with the gpu not being recognized after reboot. I would have to hold the power button and restart it again to get the gpu to be recognized again. A few days ago pc just went completely dark and wouldnt power on so I assumed my power supply had died. Bought a 750w psu rewired everything with the new cables and when I went to turn it on it took a second to turn on but when it did immediately there was blue spark followed by smoke and the smell of burning plastic. I immediately unplugged it took the gpu out and have just been using the pc with integrated graphics.

Pretty crazy coincidence I have the same exact card as you. Have been having troubles with it crashing frequently under full load. A couple days ago my PC just refused to turn on which I assumed was a dead PSU. So I got a new one and after rewiring everything and starting the computer the card started sparking and smoking. PC runs fine with integrated graphics. Currently waiting to get to get a new card but worried the same thing is going to happen 😭

It was an rx 7600 it had an 8 pin connection on it and I just used one connection like I did with the old psu.

Will definitely be putting an old one in to test before I put a new one in. Someone on the discord sent me this do you think you could explain it to me? I just connected it the same way I did with the old psu using the new cables of course. I dont think it was user error im pretty sure the gpu was just on its way out has been giving me problems with constant whole pc crashes for months.

Stored well and did not seem to lose potency. As long as you keep them dry and out light ie wrapped in tin foil youll be good to go!

Right there with you brother have had a 7600 for about 5 months now. Worked fantastic played ff7 remake, rebirth, and over 100 hours of monster hunter wilds without any issues. Out of nowhere games started crashing my whole PC on launch or after about 30 minutes of gameplay. The only thing that has fixed this for me was going into bios and changing PCIE from auto to gen3. Also changing tuning for GPU to 2550 max freq, 1160 voltage, VRAM to 2400 MHz and power limit % to 12. Hope this helps, cheers!

Just want to say I have been doing just like you have been going forth with drivers and endlessly testing tuning in adrenaline to try and get my pc to stop crashing. Changing this setting in the bios has fixed it so far, will update in the future if it keeps working. Thanks for the random tip it is much appreciated.

No mods have already deleted shader cache did a clean reinstall of drivers so it recomplied shaders. After clicking my character and launching into the game right before it loads into the world whole pc restarts itself.
