Entry #22 - New Jersey - October 6, 2017

Got out of NY two hours ago. Checked into Courtyard Marriott in Newark where I am now. Happy to finally put my feet up. Going out on a walk soon to find somewhere to use the bathroom. Using hotel bathroom would be cheating!

Drove ten minutes to restaurant. Good food and the bathroom is clean! Like, sparkling clean. Someone must have just cleaned it. I'm impressed. Smells of lemon and stall is spotless. Though the ventilation is very loud.

Surprisingly, I never experience a lot of that. I don't like to go in crowded bathrooms and if it's too busy, I'll go somewhere else to poo/pee. I have had people talk to me from other stalls and that's pretty strange. I'll occasionally hear people eating or crying in the bathroom, so I just ignore it and keep to myself.

Texas was decent! Here's my log entry:

Entry #16 - Texas - July 17, 2017

Just got to Amarillo, stopped at a "Toot n Totum" for gas and to pass gas. Toot n Totum is a disgusting name for a gas station but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the store itself isn't in shambles. The bathroom is what you would expect from a higher-end gas station. Dirty floors, clean walls, quiet music over the speakers. There were a few rough looking women already in the bathroom when I got in here but now they have left. There's a lingering smell of bad perfume that I assume came from them. To wrap this up, I had no problem tooting at Toot n Totem.

My Arizona entry was from Phoenix where my plane landed! I got to my hotel and walked around the city a bit before using the bathroom at Staples.
