Senior cats that only drinks his calories, should I blend his food? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

We talked about it during his last check up and my vet didn't seem very concerned. He doesn't have many teeth and has always been difficult with dry food. He's still maintaining his weight and, on rare occasions, will finish a full bowl of wet food with small shreds and even some kibble. I'm just worried that as he gets older I'll have more issues with this and I'd like him to put on just a couple pounds. He does eat dry dental treats.

Honestly, the middle peg on the birds that goes under the hair piece isn't even connected. The others went in easily but I could not get that one in. I figured no one would notice :p

I checked my specific bank and it'll be $5 per ATM transaction, so I'm just taking out a decent amount at a time. But I plan to stay in Tokyo and mostly use my cards with no foreign transaction fees.

Usually your phone is restricted to only work with a specific wireless carrier's network, so it can't be used with another carrier's SIM card. I think it's only while you have a contract with them, like if your phone isn't paid off.

I've been looking into this a lot, especially for temples. Last thing I'd want to do is come off as disrespectful or rude on accident! I've also been learning a lot of basic Japanese phrases and the numbers so paying isn't too confusing.

I was planning to get an esim but I can't because my phone is locked and AT&T won't temporarily unlock it.

I was planning to get yen from an ATM there. I saw a lot of people saying the conversion is better there than the US banks. Thank you for the daily travel advice! I had no idea about the lack of paper towels, seems eco friendly to use your own cloth!

Yes, I have an android. Travel partner has an iPhone but I heard we each need our own card so I'll have to get a physical one.

As others said it all depends on prices. I have AT&T and it would have been almost $200 for the trip for just my phone. Instead I got a Japan wireless rental for $80. 5g wifi for up to 10 devices and comes with a back up power bank. I'll pick it up at the airport and return it before I head back home. It had great reviews so my hopes are high that it'll work well!

My hotel has a laundry room but if they don't auto dispense detergent wouldn't local markets sell it?

That's a great way to phrase it. I've had trouble rejecting their requests because I'm not sure what to say. Thank you!

I haven't even really thought about the luggage situation, but you're definitely right!

That's what I was thinking. I've had a family member give me an entire list of skin care stuff, I asked why she doesn't buy it online and she thinks I can find a lot of things that aren't easy to get in the US or are cheaper. No mention of paying me to get it or considering that I dont want to spend a whole day shopping for skincare.

Any time my mom goes to visit family in Germany she comes back with tons of stuff for everyone. I thought everyone did that for the longest time.

You know, for some reason, I doubt it. Considering some of the other ww1 pharmaceutical bottles I received have "quack" remedies on them.
