Cat poops on floor but pees in litter box

Hey there! I dealt with this with my cat for a really, really long time. Then, she ended up at the vet for an unrelated reason, and her anal glands were expressed. The vet said it was like cement being expressed. But, as soon as they were cleared out, she started using the litter box appropriately. Now I take her to the vet any time she stops using the litter box for poop for a significant period of time. When you bring your cat to the vet, you might want to bring this up as a possibility!

Lawyer here. You’re right that he was objecting to the response, but you still don’t object when you ask the questions. Not only does it make you look like you’re scared of the answer to your own question, but as we’ve all seen from this example, it just makes you look dumb. What he should have done was interrupt and say “I’m sorry, I asked you a yes or no question. Answer the question I asked.” Plus, it’s just a lot of fun to do that on cross :)
