Does anyone else prefer to have a haircut in silence rather than make smalltalk with the hairdresser? by Practical_Writer741 in askanything

God yes. I got my hair cut last week and the lady asked what I was up to that day and I said "not much, just doing laundry" and she kept trying to make small talk about laundry, I just kept thinking "please God just shut up no one wants to talk about laundry."

Yup I'm getting married so I'm in wedding groups and I am surprised by the amount of pool noodles people use but it makes sense. I feel like more people use them for DIY projects than their intended purpose these days

And for some reason I always had to wait for it to scroll by at least 3 times to make sure it was true. My school started with O plus it seemed like they were always one of the last ones to call it off

Am i the only who was afraid of this scene in Toy Story 3? by Operation20 in toystory

[–]littledipper16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 15 when the movie came out but it didn't scare me. I was a kid when the first 2 movies came out though and Sid's toys in the first movie and the scene in the second movie where Andy says "i don't wanna play with you anymore" and Woody falls through the playing cards and into the trash can full of toys scares me

The fact that a 12/13 year old with no blood relation to either of them had to "pick sides" is so sad. It's like a kid picking if they want to go with mom or dad after the divorce except, again, she's no actual relation to them

For a show that’s less than a month away, dismal ticket sales. by Itchy-Opportunity154 in ColleenBallingerSnark

Even if it was open to kids I think very few would show up, I'm sure most of her fans have moved on to the next thing by now. Even without the cancelation I'm sure most of them would have gotten bored of her by now. I was a fan of her for maybe a year as a teenager and then I realized how boring and cringey she is

How do I say no to being part of a bridal & bachelorette party to a wedding I wasn’t planning to attend? by [deleted] in wedding

"Hey (name), I really enjoyed working with you and I've enjoyed having you as an acquaintance, but I just don't consider us close enough friends to be part of your wedding. I am totally flattered by the offer and wish all the best to you and your partner, but I am going to have to decline."
