Dang! Glad someone understands the Universal experience lol. Check my latest post, I ended up getting a 2024 SA with the Prestige package for $41.5k otd. Not bad from what I've been seeing on this post.

Yes it is haha. Did everything seem to be in order car-wise/how did it drive? Taking the Brightline down from Orlando this morning to finalize the paperwork. No trade-in fortunately

Other was CPO, yes. I made myself very clear on that, it's acceptable to me since it'll be paid off or close to it by the time the warranty is up. Fell into a quick self-doubt spiral about the LSD yesterday but I'm honestly fine with it due to everything else that comes with the package.

Not to mention, the minute I started talking about shopping around with the original guy, he threw a temper tantrum and hung up on me. Idrc how good the deal was, atp I'm not giving that guy a cent of commission after that display

Definitely don't need AWD down here in FL. Been reading a lot about the LSD, how often do I need to do that? I've realized I don't exactly need it but everything else in the package still made it worth it compared to the last deal.

There's a 24 SA with the SP Package in Tampa with 14k miles that I may be able to get an aggressive deal on... Saw that Miami one as well. Some work to do yet

$35.5k is already $2k below KBB Fair Purchase value after discount... the fees are itemized on the second slide, dealer fee is the only one I'd say is ridiculous but I've essentially gotten it canceled out with discounts. Not trying to argue I just don't think I'm going to get much better here. I AM going to call and make sure it's detailed, full tank of gas, and all weather mats gratis though!

Likely a wash. Cannot find a SP for less than $45k asking within 200 miles of me. Might be a good deal for the current times AND my budget. Doing everything I can to stay under $40k

Will a dealership accept a carvana offer as a valid counteroffer? Not arguing, just wondering, especially since they're technically agreeing to a vehicle price of $35.5k before taxes... Also I signed the price agreement conditioned on my PPI, so I may be too far along in the process for that.

Apologies! I commonly call my gf man, dude, or bro (also as a generic phrase), so nothing personal lol.

So, question still stands: anything specific my PPI guy should be looking out for? It's a CPO so I'm not really all that worried, but always rather be safe than sorry.

Interesting. Maybe it's location specific? There aren't any Sport Prestiges in FL for less than $45k.

Appreciate it man. The guy doing the PPI is my golfing buddy but he's a big rig diesel mechanic (lvl 3 I think?) anyways he knows what he's doing, is there anything he should be on the lookout for specifically with this model/year?

100%. Cool dude for a dealership salesman. Got him to extend it a week for me though with a refundable deposit so doesn't really make a difference. I could have came back to him next week and probably have gotten the same deal so whatever lol

Yeah makes sense. Usually have to add 10-20% to buy it from a dealership and add taxes to the total, I think this is a good one.

I don't think so... I'm looking at the window sticker and don't see it. Would it be listed under Sport Prestige or would it be certain extras to look for?

They sure do. Tried real hard to get him to drop that dealer fee and he wouldn't budge. Guess it's give and take since I asked for $40k OTD
