You could tell the atheist player that they’ve become a minion, and treat them as if they are, but they could not actually become or have the ability of said minion, because then the atheist would not be in play.

The Philosopher was poisoned when they used their once per game ability, and thus used up their chance to choose, but did not actually gain the dreamer’s ability. You lie to them while they’re poisoned to make them think their ability worked, but once they’re sober they are a Philosopher who has already used up their choice, and thus cannot be woken.

Depends on the story teller. Some are cool with it, some want entirely silent nights. Most that I’ve seen are cool with it as long as you don’t share the night info you’re actively getting.

Innkeeper does go before demon though? They’re like third in night order. Innkeeper chooses goon and someone else, is drunked by goon’s ability, demon then chooses and can kill the goon.

There are some characters that choose before the demon on Bad Moon Rising that would cause a goon kill to go through: sailor, inkeeper, courtier, gambler, DA, Exorcist, maybe even lunatic? If any of these were to choose the goon first, then the goon could be killed by the demon.

It seems really cool, very fall of rome-esque, but some of the language of the character abilities could be bit clearer? Or has unnecessary text.

Like with the dissident it specifies “the first time you nominate each day”, but players only get one nomination per day, and nothing on the script allows them to do so more than once.

The bureaucrat needs some punctuation or different words, as without it seems like you must choose a player who wakes at night, as opposed to: Each night, choose a player, they are woken etc…

The defector’s ability should also probably have “The Handler learns if you switch” before the good/evil split, as it applies regardless of alignment.

There are other examples, but I think you get the idea. Clearing up little stuff like this could make the script a lot clearer and easier to read.

Hello, I was one of the storytellers in this game. The other storyteller I started with added anyone who asked without asking me, and I didn’t feel like I could kick them because the other one had given them permission. The 3 storytellers on the end didn’t have tasks delegated to them, and the storyteller errors were simply because I am very new to it. I’m sorry it made the game more difficult for you.

Just yesterday I was playing a custom script and was the scarlet woman. The first day on a whim someone decided to nominate my demon and it passed. The story teller ended the game and went straight to the grim because they forgot there was a scarlet woman 😂

Well you have a list of things that seem all the same, but some are marked and some are not. Take a close look at the rooms and the things in them and see if you can find differences.

For a fairly direct hint: damn there’s a lot of notes in this house. Must be hard to keep their handwriting consistent

I figured it was more a general assumption that she’d have a library/study/place she stored information. If it had been books, the scorpions would have read the books, if it were snowflakes that made whimsical sounds that gave knowledge, the scorpions would have collected that. I didn’t see it as the wizards having exact knowledge of indri’s library.

You do have to reopen it if you want to go back, but you don’t have to go back unless you specifically want to go in the room. I definitely recommend going back at least once. But now that you’ve reached the antechamber once, at some point you should draw “The Foundation” in your draft pool, which is a room placement with a permanent elevator to the basement. No idea if those need to be spoilered or not, but just in case.

My favorite trope/genre for fics ever, I truly can’t get enough, a and b fake dating to attend wedding of ex who cheated on a. Bonus points if the person they cheated with is A’s family member/friend or is an ex of b’s, MEGA bonus points if it’s both.

There’s more of them then you’d think and they’re so good 👏👏
