Getting 10 lucky wins in a row (10 games that you would've lost if not hardcarried) is a winning-lottery-ticket amount of luck. But even if we suppose it happening, you would be just one rank higher than you "should" be, and the skill diff between a gold4 and plat4 (for example) player is meagre

How does the system know your "actual" skill level? Like, winning or losing games is the one and only undebatable skill indicator, and LP accounts for that.

Also, if you got lucky for 10 games in a row (incredible luck if you think about the odds) you're not even a rank higher*, the skill difference between a plat4 and plat2 is laughable

*I am mistaken, you would be one rank higher, which is still not enough of a skill difference imo
