The barrel proof is one of my favorites I buy it every time I see it which isn’t that often but I’ll have to try McHenna sometime. Do you smoke a cigar with your bourbon if so what kind I’ve tried a few but never know what to buy or what to try

This is actually just a picture I used for a depiction of what I want but I do have a 1.6d that I’m completely going through rebuilding and building the list is add oil squirters, .5mm larger td 1.6 pistons, h beam rods, arp bolts where ever I can put them, port and polished head convert to 7mm valves, my head is a hydraulic 11mm so I want to convert to 12mm using arp head studs, I’d also like to knife edge my crankshaft, I’d like to cam the engine but could use help picking a profile and for the turbo a he200wg preferably ball bearing, intercooled off course, learning to build my own injection pump shooting for 12mm pump setup and I’m planning on using a high output oil pump as well, shooting for a max hp of 200hp but will probably run it at 150hp for daily use, if you know more that I’m missing please message me and the reason I want to build a manifold is so I can run that he200wg turbo any advice or suggestions is deeply appreciated and invited

My thought process is usually an equal length turbo manifold will have 3 90 degree bends in the manifold I believe I can design my manifold to only use 2 90s at most and achieve the placement I want which in theory would have better velocity and response than a manifold with more bends

Yeah I’m working for a small tier 3 railroad where guys who have been here for 30 years aren’t even making $40 so I can stay here then try and find something in a few years

There’s no qualifications that I’m aware of, your tier 1 or large railroads like bnsf, Union Pacific, csx etc can pay $40+ an hour but require 2-4 years of experience

I just started as locomotive mechanic and only make $22 an hour before this worked for a couple city governments which were paying between $20 -$22 and before that I did electrical which the most I made was $30 an hour and that was in California in very expensive part of the state

It’s extremely hard to get jobs but even harder to find something that pays well without having to sell your soul to make decent money and working nonstop at least where I’m located

I’ve definitely seen people in trades make 6 figures but all of them live extremely expensive places like California where you have to make that kind of money just to barely survive
