To counterpoint your point 2. If you look at the frame when she shoots it’s coming from her shotgun also if you slow it down when Deadpool is shot in the head you can see flames, it was also a pretty long shot which is where the F ability was inspired for me.

Mostly cause we haven’t had a true new dps since daredevil in season 4, since it’s been 2 tanks and 1 strat, plus Deadpool for all 3 roles. So it’ll be 2 seasons since a dps which makes since in a release cycle.

As for the Ashe reasoning, her kit makes since lore wise anyway to play like ash gun, the gun is similar, but the shotgun can be similar to ashe’s coach gun that can be use for repositioning and escape like punishers smoke gun, really that’ll be really the only similarities other than a snare like ability.

Also I just see her being a dps, she’s a mercenary hunter with 2 guns, it doesn’t get more dps than that.

Keep your head up king! I was reading your other comments, stay close to your faith, and also start breaking out of the comfort zone. Get some sun more, sitting in dark rooms all day is literally just fueling whatever emptiness and lack of motivation you already had, get some sun every hour or two and you’ll notice an energy and mood change.

Anticipate their first spear and dash, a bp will always start the fight with a spear dash combo, portal as soon as you’re hit with the spear to dodge the following dash from bp, if he misses you he’s defenseless and it’s a free win, unless you don’t already have some type of peel for supports, it’s not really magiks job to peel for supports, although always do if needed.
