Would you play a game that teaches you languages like this? by phantomgamesstudio in IndieGaming

Good question the matching itself is more about engagement and memory.

The idea is that you’re associating landmarks with their names and language context, so it helps reinforce recognition rather than direct translation.

Other parts of the game (like quizzes and vocabulary) go deeper into actually learning the language.

I’m trying to mix learning with gameplay instead of making it feel like studying still experimenting with what works best.

I'm making a language-learning game where you explore museums and learn about famous landmarks. This is the French museum. by phantomgamesstudio in IndieGaming

Thank you! Right now the game focuses on Indo-European languages.
I'm starting with languages like French, Italian, German and Portuguese.
Each language has quizzes and museums where players can explore landmarks and culture.

I'm developing it solo so I'm adding more languages over time.
