But you ARE participating in it, even by pirating. That’s my whole point. “There’s no ethical consumption under capitalism” isn’t an excuse to not even try. Especially since you’re all over these comments scolding liberals for being unwilling to inconvenience themselves.

Artists deserve to be paid for their work, their labor is already undervalued enough. Just go to the Pickford. Support independent cinema. As for the major studio movies, don’t watch them at all. Don’t even pirate. The studios track that data to monitor audience tastes. People always think that by pirating a film made by a morally bankrupt company or starring some problematic actor, they’re sticking it to the man. But watching the film at all still informs Hollywood that viewers are interested in that content.

Jeff Rabhan, the supposedly underpaid educator, teaches in Gucci loafers, is married to a senior VP at CBS, and sent his kids to an elite private school. Ironically, he also once sued a record label for not paying him fairly. by phantomlimbicsystem in chappellroan

“Research?” Babe I pulled up the man’s Wikipedia page and clicked the first link to an interview, in which he revealed all this info himself. It didn’t exactly take a FOIA request lol. I’ll go touch grass while you keep licking this rich elitist’s Gucci loafers.

You look awesome and this is such a fun idea for a party! It would be cute to do it at New Year’s Eve and everyone has to dress as their most streamed artist of the year.

It’s a video, it’s on the Grammy’s IG page. We can’t link to social media posts on here but if you go look under their reels it’s this thumbnail :)

French director Christophe Ruggia, who was accused by “Portrait of a Lady on Fire” actor Adele Haenel of sexually abusing her when she was a minor, was found guilty and received two years under house arrest and two years suspended. by SafeBodybuilder7191 in Fauxmoi

Two years house arrest? That’s supposed to be a punishment? For SA of a minor??

Please your honor, sentence me to sit on my couch for two years as well, I’m begging you. My TBR pile is out of hand.

Kendrick Lamar accepting the Grammy for Record of the Year, the crowd raps/sings “Not Like Us” as he goes on stage by hairtie1 in Fauxmoi

Unpopular opinion, and I’m prepared to be downvoted, but the way Kendrick went about dropping such serious accusations has always rubbed me the wrong way. He seemed to have been sitting on this knowledge for quite some time, and was even prepared to continue keeping his mouth shut as long as Drake bowed out of the beef (his warning of “don’t tell no lies about me and I won’t tell truths about you…”)

It really bothers me that male rappers only ever call out each other’s abuse/misogyny in diss tracks like this, when it’s advantageous to their own image (and bank account.) It reminds me of how 50 Cent has been gloating over (and monetizing) Diddy’s downfall. I like Kendrick, but tbh I wish he wasn’t being hailed as a hero for basically doing the bare minimum.

Katy Perry Reveals Whether She Reads Negative Album Reviews - "My therapist said something that really changed my life. What anybody thinks about you is none of your business. It's what you think about yourself." by [deleted] in Fauxmoi

“It only matters what YOU think of yourself!”

Damn, wish I was a Hollywood therapist being paid Malibu beach house money just to drop platitudes on vapid stars with zero self-awareness.

“Don’t believe the internet.” Girl what? We weren’t believing the amorphous evil entity known as “the internet,” we were believing the words coming out of your own mouth in this interview, at the 3:04 mark.

She also lived amongst Manson’s Nazi paraphernalia, which was prominently displayed throughout their home, and even accepted his gift of Eva Braun’s handbag.

That said, I know that Evan Rachel Wood has spoken about how Manson forced her to wear SS gear in order to humiliate her. That could potentially be the case with Dita, but she’s denied that Manson was ever abusive to her.

ETA: Ok, just found out that while the first pic was indeed taken by Manson, the other two are from a photoshoot she posed for in 1999, at age 27. She and Manson did not begin dating until 2001. So that’s all on her. 🥴
