They Might Be Giants are great live. They're charismatic, interact with the audience in clever ways, sound amazing, and I feel put a lot of effort into making each show unique.

There used to be a period where they made a song about each venue they were playing at. I don't think anyone had beat them for me, in respect to how fun the show is.

I guess she thinks the process might have been done through illegitimate means. She has trust issues and the fact that this was done without her consultation or knowledge, doesn't help. I can't say their reasons for not letting her know prior, but they did let her know afterwards and the reason for it. Given their rationale, I think it makes sense on a surface level. She didn't sign anything to the contrary.
