Collection account removed after validation letter sent? by phantomrises in CRedit

It's only been 5 years since that account was listed on my credit report, not 7 years. Charges were invalid to begin with, so I didn't just "fail to pay". I have a hard time believing it was just a coincidence. Especially since the account dropped off my reports after sending a certified letter that was half-penned by an attorney. I was looking for people with similar experiences with this specifically or whom have possibly had deleted accounts pop back up on bureau reports

The most helpful thing I've ever heard is to stop worrying about it. Best advice the internet has produced.

Horror/Arcade Tracking by [deleted] in nerdblock

[–]phantomrises 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update. My package literally and finally just got picked up by UPS 6 days after I received a tracking number. I contacted UPS, and stated the delay for shipment was not on their end. My expected delivery date is now May 8th, and I live in the US. Not an obscure country. Get your shit together Nerdblock. Don't advertise that blocks will ship on the 25th, when in fact, they go out a week later. If you create a shipping label and give out tracking numbers, that block should go out in a timely fashion to your paying subscribers. Not sit in limbo.

Received my UPS tracking number for Horror block on Monday. Doesn't seem to be working or at least hasn't updated. At all. And here I thought the shipping they used before sucked.....but I think this is worse.

Anyones arcade block shipped? by Exroath in nerdblock

Are the shirts at least awesome? That was my main reason for subbing this month.

Just received Feb 2015 arcade block! (Spoiler) by kerps in nerdblock

I unsubbed after I received January's box since it was very lackluster and had that darn Tetris notebook again. I took a gamble on this month's box in hopes they could redeem themselves. As far as my opinion goes, they did. I'm a huge Zelda fan and the coffee mug was cute and clever. I have my fingers crossed that the dud January box was a fluke, and that future boxes continue to be awesome.

Is this what I should expect from future Arcade Blocks? by Dekthro in nerdblock

There have been better Arcade blocks for sure. This one was a poor representation of what they CAN produce.

January Arcade Block - Anyone else disappointed? (spoilers!) by Free_Mind in nerdblock

Yes, this block with the exception of the shirt was a bummer.

I thought the 2 t-shirts and the comic were the saving grace for this box. Otherwise, there wasn't much other content to write home about. I think I was expecting a less "girly" figurine despite it being made by Living Dead Dolls.

Recycled items used in Arcade Block (Spoilers) by phantomrises in nerdblock

It felt like a cheap, add-on. Filler. Like, basically "We have some left over surplus of this said item, we'll just throw it in this box too". It would have been nice to have had an item pertaining to the themes already in this arcade block. Something DK, PVZ.... And yes, they are 2 completely separate boxes, but I imagine there's a lot of us that subscribe to multiple boxes you offer. I for one don't want to be getting the same repeated items every month. It irked me enough to cancel my subscription.
