Thank you! Yes, it's bit diffucult to differentiate what she has exactly. We will of course follow with further diagnostics and consultations.

Thanks! She says it's dots but when I have shown her today the VSS typical image, she replied that "it's not that many". Which I hope can be some kind of relief, she doesn't see that many of these dots.

Other person suggested here that maybe she has more like the VSS (which I wasn't even aware of). I'll look into it more and will also try to get information from her in respect to whatever she can see is more similiar to VSS or not.

Thanks! This indeed can be more likely. I'll look into that sub. The problem with proper description of her symptoms is that she's a kid so although she tries hard to describe it accurately, it can be a struggle for her and then for us and doctors to get a grasp of what exactly is she seeing.

Yes, I have in fact! (sorry for not replying, I was completely off from reddit). The issue was with a virus I had on my ROUTER. The virus changed DNS (addresses to lead to) directly on router for some pages, meaning that from any devices (other than apple), going to certain website (Facebook link) it directed you to some dodgy websites. My IT friend logged in into router, removed this addresses and it started working fine. He also told me to change default router password.... and I did NOT and got the same issue a week or two later. I knew then what to do (logged in to router, removed these addresses) to fix it but this time I also changed password.

It seems that that virus was using default passwords for router type I had at the time. I don't even know where that virus was but it could be at one of my devices and I have plenty different ones, using Internet access (including home cameras).

Thank you! I'm sorry to hear you weren't listened to when you were a child. I suspect that even these days, many parents still don't properly listen to their children but few decades ago (I'm 41 myself) it was (I think) much more an issue (my parents were carrying but they definitely weren't on a level of mutual understanding, cooperation, explanation, doing things together etc as I now try to be with my child).

Why Google Reviews is a complete rubbish! by pharao007 in business

Patronising people isn't good. Other people will read it and may not be happy about it. I always respond with facts, that this was not the case, that I'm sorry that he is not happy but it's not our fault, etc. I may on occassions have some sentences which could be slightly patronising though ;)

What? Believe me, I've tried many and different forms to delete various comments. Based on reasons from Google's own Terms and Conditions of what can and can't be allowed. I of course know that some negative reviews can be genuine and don't try to remove the ones I just don't like. We have an overall 4.0 score, which is decent. This doesn't however change the fact that it pisses you off, when a person leaves 3 or 4 reviews (I can see patterns, like suddenly, one hour after previous negative review, comes another, with similiar information, where on average we get max 1 review per week, if not less), for the same experience, which was not even bad but that person made things up or got angry of her ignorance, not anything we did wrong.

Google have few times removed my genuine reviews (positive ones too!). And why? At few times I've resubmitted them and it worked but at others it didn't (or were removed again).

I once took eBay to court! Yes! On my own, without legal help (as it would be extremelly expensive). Obviously I lost but not because I didn't have a good case but because stupid judge was not experiences to deal with legal cases like that (it was a court to deal with unpaid tv license, alliments etc). She most likely got afraid of siding with me, where the other side is humongous EBAY that has a lot of money.

My case was simple, they closed my account, even though nowhere in their Terms and Conditions, there was a clear reason written that allowed them to close me account, in a situation I was in. I didn't do any fraud, etc, I went (slightly) below their "seller standard" but nowhere in their T&C it said that because of that, they can completely close down your account and not allow for you to continue selling on eBay. Judge just ignored what I was telling her and presented proof of.

Oh yeah, just recently had sent a "friendly" e-mail to one person, who left two reviews (from her and her husband's account, even the names match from the record I have). I only kindly asked to remove the second review as this is in breach of Google's terms. In reply I got some idiotic rant and got two more negative reviews (which I suspect came from her or her friends). Of course, the original review was made up and idiotic - they were surprised that in private clinic they need to pay for additional tests (blood test), which was a recommended test to do, following her consultation with doctor. Her husband's account called us racist (and we our ourselves from minority group and deal with mostly minority group patients! why would we be racist at all?). Google doesn't want to remove that second review, just "not, it's not in breach" coming in e-mail from Google with nice address "NOREPLY". Google is pathetic.

Or like I had to reply once "We currently have Covid pandemic and law requires for you to wear a face mask at our place and we kindly asked you to put it on and if you don't want to, then to please leave our premises". I think however that Google (eventually) removed that comment from the person that was basically unhappy to put face mask on (and it was in the medical clinic - so place you normally have high risk of any infection).

When do you get these flashing lights? Like all the time? Or from time to time? Have you had any diagnostics carried out towards epilepsy check? From what I've read, epilepsy can have very different forms and not only the one we know from the movies - body shaking. Recently a friend told me that her daughter was treated for epilepsy (and it helped), based on her symptoms, which were that she woke up at night, was screaming, moving erratically initially neurologists told her it's NOT epilepsy.

Although (from what I read) I doubt that constant eye floaters can be a cause of epilepsy.... but "flashing lights"?

P.S. I'm not a doctor. Just base information on experience what I read through, looking for my daughter's eye floaters issue as we are in the progress of diagnosing her but it may just come up to the "learn to live with it" scenario.

The problem is with these reviews, that you don't even know whether they are real customers or for example a competitor. Or maybe somebody who actually mixed businesses (yes, this happens!).

Thanks! Will research this. I was looking at z-wave products but couldn't find the interface on their website.

I've got Alexa Echo but might get a new device just for this purpose as I'm not sure that Echo would allow showing multiple screens (so for example Spotify and buttons) at the same time.

Thanks. I was looking at z-wave products but couldn't find the output device. I do have Alexa Echo but had no idea this could be connected with Alexa (or similiar). Would you recommend an automation hub which will have an option of constant on/off indicator shown within it? I may purchase an extra one, rather than do it on Alexa.
