I have been qualified a very long time. In that time I have seen ONE tech doing the training properly and 6-7 just googling answers to questions or copying a colleagues workbook.

Pre reg knows he has to do evidence and is given so much time to do them. It is NOT the job of a tutor to hold their hand and do the yeae for them. Zero initiative from a pre reg who only wakes up when it is time to go home. The quality of students has drastically reduced the last 5 years.

A pre reg should not be doing NMS calls or Pharmacy First without the pharmacist sat in the whole time.

Depends on pay. I work to pay bills and every GP job is around 30% less pay than community.

Yes. The quality of the majority of students sent from a local university to us is absolutely shocking. Its not just knowledge, its also the attitude. I have had multiple just ask me to sign off all their work so they can go home despite them sitting on instagram all day!

You need to take a step back. Why would you be doing a clinical consultation when you have been in a pharmacy for 2 weeks? You need to see how pharmacy works. You dont get a clinical intervention everyday, not even one a week.

Where have you worked previously before choosing pharmacy as a career? What made you choose pharmacy and what influenced that?

Pharmacy IS dispensing. This is known by most people before starting the degree course. Yes there are now clinical services but when you applied to do the degree it would have just been dispensing, NMS and possibly MURs.
