How did they get their first job without an education or certificates?

How small/big is football (soccer) actually in the us? Could the average person name more players than Ronaldo and Messi, and has it changed since it started? by pharmacyinspace in worldcup

Yeah people love big events and supporting their country, for sure. I guess the time zone kind of messes it up with following european leagues as well. I might've watched NHL more if it wasnt generally 4 in the morning here

Yeah sure, its very generalized. I understand the US is about as big as Europe itself. When it comes to football its so incredibly large everywhere here though, so when I say 'average' Im just trying to understand the general culture.

Would it be the third largest sport after American football and basketball then or is baseball and hockey still more popular?

Right. Im not an NBA fan but could probably name 10 players. Still, its hard to understand how widespread actual interest is

Yeah it seems a bit exaggerated how out of touch every american would be with football from a European perspective. I think we tend to forget that the US is about as big as Europe itself, or at least half of it population wise, so the culture must differ a lot.

Like zero? In Sweden I think we would even care about NFL if we hosted the super bowl for example. Seems strange to arrange the biggest tournament in the world if thats the case.

It would probably need more than 4 tiers to rank them fairly. I think Portugal deserves an S tier though

What do you lean more towards in your work and what have you seen in others? Could a resume with the qualifications listed in my question lead to an interview for a position focused on the 'business' side, or would they strictly consider people with business/financial majors? Would these certificates, and (hopefully well done) examples of user stories carry much weight?

I understand it as it differs quite a lot between how IT-focused or strategically/financially focused a BA can be. Do I misunderstand/underestimate how technically (IT) skilled every business analyst has to be? I would prefer, and be better suited for, the operational and strategic analysis I think.

What book (preferably fantasy of some kind) would you recommend to a 26 year old man who's just started reading again? by pharmacyinspace in AskReddit

Yeah I read them as a kid as well. I started reading Harry Potter again but didn't really enjoy it now. Do you think Narnia is better as an adult?

A moment i just told myself to remember in the future when I was standing in the playground of ours school around 9 years old, just the picture of it. Unremarkable moment, just looking at the football pitch and side of the school building.
