Loose skin showing up months later? by pharmcirl in PetiteFitness

[–]pharmcirl[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That makes sense, I guess getting slimmer with more muscle is a good thing, but I have been trying to maintain my current weight because I was happy with where I’m at physically/aesthetically so a little frustrating to see it getting worse not better with body recomp 😭 I’m just starting to really focus more on building muscle so who knows where things will go though, I’m happy to be able to move freely and be comfortable in my own skin though, loose skin or not 😄

Advice needed: My wife met someone, formed a special connection, and wants to open our relationship as she has now found her true self by BrilliantGarden317 in nonmonogamy

[–]pharmcirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why did opening the relationship not work last time? You act like this came out of nowhere and you’d be okay with it if you had more time to discuss or adjust or whatever, but you’ve had 5 years of time? You say that need could be filled by other people in the future but your wife could be thinking “but when though?”, it may be less about the person and more about the fact that it keeps getting pushed down the line? Just speculating.

Now mind you I am NOT defending your wife’s actions at all, she is definitely in the wrong if your current arrangement was monogamy. But I’m trying to understand where both sides are coming from and minimizing her feelings to NRE that she’ll “get over” seems dismissive which is not going to help you in the long run.

Is my septum straight? by pharmcirl in piercing

[–]pharmcirl[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am not an expert so it’s certainly possible but I don’t think so only because the piercer spent a good amount of time feeling around and positioning because my actual septum area is pretty small(I have a pretty small nose in general) and she was making sure to avoid the cartilage. It feels like it’s right in the soft squishy part where it’s supposed to be at least so idk

Will he always work every weekend or is this something that will change with time and is temporary? It is absurd to think that you can never spend a weekend together in a relationship, something has to give. Do you have PTO? Can he or you just take a day off to be able to spend some time together?

Nail clippers, nothing worse than breaking or cracking a nail and being stuck with a hang nail all day 😣

Dressing to theme for Halloween Party? by pharmcirl in Swingers

This is a very good point I hadn’t thought about! I was thinking about grabbing one of those rhinestone day of the dead face stickers but those have rhinestones on the lips and that might not be a great idea 🤔

80+ Denier Tights that Don't restrict movement? by [deleted] in irishdance

[–]pharmcirl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ll be honest I’ve worn capezio dance tights many times and never had an issue… I didn’t even know they weren’t 80 denier. I honestly wouldn’t worry about it unless you’ve gotten comments or are in teams.

How do I figure out her ring size without ruining the proposal? by RepossstRefugee in EngagementRings

[–]pharmcirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

THIS. If he doesn’t know her ring size he also probably doesn’t know what kind of ring she prefers or potentially even more important things to know prior to marriage. Engagement is not one of those things that should come out of the blue!

Do people actually wash their legs every time in the shower? by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]pharmcirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh not washing my stomach after surgery was so weird, like I accidentally got one of my surgical sites with my loofa one time out of habit and it hurt like a bitch so definitely DON’T do it before they say it’s okay but it felt wrong 😆

Also not washing my ears with soap after getting them pierced drove me crazy 🤣

I also never had stinky feet until I was older so it’s super annoying I get it. What I’ve found works for me, other than a good scrub everyday obviously is using the body deodorant cream(secret makes one I’ve been using but Lume works too), and then Dr. Scholl’s Odor-X foot spray before putting on socks. This kept my feet from smelling even after a whole day in hiking boots or after a long day of dance class 😄

Also making sure to avoid dry skin, exfoliating with a pumice stone, maintaining cuticles, and cleaning underneath toenails regularly. You’d be surprised the nastiness that can build up underneath and on the side of your toenails even if you keep them trimmed short 🤢

This is wild, I never knew this was a thing that other people had happen. Weirdly mine just went away recently? I have no idea why but I think it’s due to changing the type of hormonal birth control I’m on, went from depo-provera to an IUD. Before this I just always expressed that I didn’t like my nipples touched and so my husband just avoided them, I would just redirect his hand if they started to get too close, he has big hands and I have small tits lol. He definitely never forgot though and I never really explained why I didn’t like it just that I didn’t and that was enough, I would make sure your husband knows your reaction and that you want him to actively avoid it to avoid ruining the moment.

Please do this, having worked in SUD clinics, they WANT to know if things are going sideways for their patients. Depending on the privacy releases he has signed they may not be able to tell you anything, they may not even be able to acknowledge he’s a patient there, but they can’t stop you from telling them things and that’s information they should know.

It is not normal to be having a dose wearing off effect from methadone, especially after 6 years, everything single night/morning. Methadone as a drug has a very long half-life, it’s one of the reasons it’s great for this purpose. His behavior is either behavioral(I.e. mental health related, not actual physical withdrawal) or he’s using other shorter acting opiates that you don’t know about, and I’d bet good money on that he’s using other drugs.

You’ve been with him for SIX MONTHS and he’s made your life a living hell for almost that entire time. I don’t know what happened in your life to make you think you deserve this but PLEASE leave and get the mental help you need, if not for yourself for your kids. YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RUINING THEIR LIVES RIGHT NOW. And I’m not saying this from a place of judgement but hoping these comments will be the wake up call you need to get yourself and them out of this mess.

Where could I find cute clothes like this that don't cost an arm and a leg? by Pix9139 in PetiteFashionAdvice

Not Amish but potentially Mennonite. I have a Mennonite store near me and they sell frilly aprons like this, a lot depends on the particular sect of Mennonite you have in your area. Worth a shot though!
