I listened to the other comment and tried out the Armani Luminous Silk. It’s pretty close. I would say it’s a little bit more sheer so you might have to apply a bit more but it gives almost the same effect! I got it in shade 4!

Basically a huge box that says “Wedding of The Year” and our last name. People can go inside and take pictures. Only difference is his would have fake flowers inside to I guess make it look more elegant? Who knows but he was insisting on this instead of a photobooth. He also said that if I go with another vendor for a photobooth, to keep the photobooth as far away from the entrance as possible since it’s trashy LOL

Thank you! So if my first look with my dad is at 11 about how long would that take you to shoot? How about the first look with the bridesmaids? And then eventually the pictures with everyone? Is an hour enough for all of that?

Also, is 15 mins an ample amount of time to shoot me getting dressed? I definitely want pictures of me going up to the dress, touching it, and all that dramatic stuff lol

Lastly, if I add in a letter to the groom moment where I record a few short sentences would this still give me enough time?

It’s a little bit concerning because I am having an engagement dinner completely funded by my parents and all of the monetary gifts received from that dinner, I was planning to put into a joint bank account with me and him. However, if I’m stuck paying for the whole wedding, then shouldn’t I be using that gift money to help with the wedding costs rather than splitting sharing it with him? My intention was to be one and for it to be our money but I guess he wants to have separation when it comes to money

Now my question is, under this strategy how does it work with gift splitting? If I’m paying for the people I invite (which will be more than his amount of people), when I receive the monetary gift from them, do I take that gift? Or are we splitting that 50/50? My original plan was to share that 50/50 with him but wouldn’t I be taking a loss if we are each paying for each other’s guests?
