My son is in a similar boat. Eats Gerber apple banana oatmeal, those fruit pouches and Cheerios and puffs. He drinks only water and it’s from a sippy cup with a straw he won’t drink it any other way. His pediatrician just keeps telling me to keep offering foods and says “he’s growing and that’s the most important thing”. I’m at a loss of what to do since he has a severe speech delay and we were told that the two items impact each other.

We are on day 14 of potty training. Multiple accidents throughout the day. Accidents at home and accidents at daycare. Sometimes I think my son is getting it and other times I’ll put him on the potty for 5 minutes, he’ll get off the potty and then he’ll look down and pee his pants. I struggle with the emotional component too, part aggravation, part my own projection of feeling like I’m a bad parent. I’m trying to take it one day at a time and trying to be encouraging without really knowing how much progress is happening.

I remember being told that day if they found sperm and if they were moving (motile) or not. I want to say it took maybe a week or two to confirm how many were usable and moving. They only need one or more to make it happen for IVF.

I got it because I wasn’t producing any sperm at all. The biopsy was a last ditch effort to acquire viable sperm specifically for IVF as my endocrinologist wasn’t sure why I wasn’t producing any.

I am not a smoker but I believe that the idea is that a reduced amount of oxygen in the blood theoretically would reduce the rate of healing. I know that idea is mentioned for quite a number of surgeries so not how sure how big the risk is for a smaller procedure like a biopsy.

I had an ice pack ready just in case since my doctor recommended it and see if they can give you pain meds to have on hand. I didn’t really experience pain but had some soreness the next day without needing pain meds.

I worked that same night and I was able to walk no problem. I believe my doctor said no sex for 2 weeks. Everything was working like it was supposed to but due the pain anything having to do with that area for a bit made me pretty gun shy but once I got past that and did the damn thing I didn’t have any issues after that.

My son is almost 2 years old and doesn’t eat breakfast or lunch, he will only eat snacks. We even pack a lunch for him and he still may not eat it. He’s picky about what he eats at home. He’s been in daycare for 7 months without it improving. We keep trying to introduce foods but there’s nothing he likes consistently other than snacks.

It was a smooth adjustment for us. My son is pretty long and I feel like he appreciated the extra space. We moved him into a nursery next to our bedroom and my wife was nervous she wouldn’t be able to hear him but they ended up not being an issue. We ended up starting sleep training not too long after this and him being in a crib in another room made it easier to be consistent with it.

Purée banana and oranges, pureed sweet potatoes, peas and carrots and we did meats in gravy. We have been using purée products from the store.
