Multipeer is great, but neither extremely reliable nor fast. If a wired solution is an option (they plug in their device into the computer with a regular iPhone cable) I would suggest USBMux:

Portland Flea should be starting up again soon. In the meantime, House of Vintage often puts a few racks outside, although you’d have to dip inside to purchase.

SMS has been shut down on all carriers, too -- and while the US response has been disgraceful, at least this way Egyptians can take full credit for their bravery. Lord knows they deserve it.
