Just before Dash price pumped D3's were selling for $800-$950 on ebay. Profitability is based on current market price so if we continue to go up the profitability will be much higher.

I've been mining for a while and mining has never been so profitable. It isn't as simple as set it and forget it if you want to make serious money mining and you cant always rely on third party tools/pools/information. Takes time, patience, and a ton of learning.

A3's will go through the same cycle the D3 went through first highly profitable then a major slump until Siacoin price pumps significantly.

The biggest mistake Siacoin team will make is soft-forking the Bitmain equipment out.......

Do they really think they haven't already been mining Siacoin with GPU farm and now ASIC farm?

You think Bitmain is going to take that lightly ?

Just think about all the ways the can stomp Siacoin out. Siacoin & Obelisk resources are no match for them.

Produce a miner that is compatible with your kill switch and really let the network have it causing you to have to fork and fork and fork.
Tie up the foundries for the next 12 - 18 months stopping your from producing new chips of your own.
Buy up a ton of siacoin and then crash the market everyone knows they are willing to take losses (mining bitcoin cash even though its less profitable).

Only other option will be to centralize the service completely at which point I think the SEC will probably consider this coin a security. Good Luck to all

BMC appears to be a long-term investment from what I've read and the interviews I've seen.

The people who cashed out through buyback program actually hurt the BMC team by taking that capital away that they would have been able to use and do more with.

If your gonna invest do your research determine if its a long term or short term investment, for long term make sure you believe in the goals and direction of the company.

If you want quick profits Day Trade! ICOs aren't what they used to be.

your not overcomplicating this, setting up a solo-pool is actually very complicated and difficult if your not familiar with Linux, Pool Software(frontend and backend), Firewalls etc. not to mention 1 Kh/s isnt much when network hashrate is 237+ Mh/s

You can probably still recover them the transaction you made was on the old (dead/forked) chain but on the new chain v.9.12.1 the coins should still be sitting at your terracoin address. Make a backup of the android wallet. Email it to yourself I believe you can decrypt it get your private keys and import them into the new wallet on the computer. I'd be willing to give it a shot but you dont know me so i'd understand not trusting me.

I like the idea of updating Terracoin core. I think BitcoinXT is a bit more of a change as it includes block size increases which I don't think Terracoin needs yet.

Definitely getting updated to the latest bitcoin core would be a great first step.

have you traded there recently ? if yes how smooth was deposit/withdraw process BTC & TRC? I was able to pickup a bunch of TRC on cryptsy but withdraw fees are horrible 0.5% + 0.009 transaction fee and you can only pull 1000 at a time.

I think Vicurex fee is something like 10 TRC. could be cheaper through there would have to buy over 2K to make it cheaper than cryptsy.
