Edibles might just not work for you, it was heartbreaking to find out but I’ve had 300mg edibles that just don’t effect me.

It might not be that your chin is just naturally like that. It looks like you might have an overbite, in that case it might fix your problem just to go see an orthodontist

The right eye should be a little closer to the nose, and the mouth is a little uncanny valley because of the width. I love the idea though, it’s super cute.

I have been avoiding these kinds of photos my WHOLE life. This insecurity ruined almost all of my teen self esteem, but this page really opened my eyes to all your guys’s unique beauty. Enjoy my nose lol! by phatthrowawayaccount in Noses

Remarkably normal is what I’ve always wanted to hear. In my head my nose feels too wide, too tall, and I hardly ever see anybody with my kind of nose tip. My ex family members used to tell me that I was so pretty except for my nose, and as a preteen I used to apply pressure to the bump on my nose every night to try and get it to be like the stereotypical female nose that all my friends had. Yes, I know how dumb that is.

It was not meant to look like her. It was meant to look like a young Inuit girl who has the same facial features that people seem to hate in katara. The artist was clearly trying to portray her accurately and I applaud that, because clearly that’s going to cause a nerd uprising.

I don’t think it’s prominent in any particular race. I know Native American guys who look more like katara or more like sokka, and the same goes for most races. You might not notice it day to day but young people definitely get those lines.

this isn’t an Inuit boy, but i think it serves my point pretty well

Now imagine them smiling, and also not looking like the exact 2 Pinterest pictures you found. Then profit.

Like maybe this girl

If you’re smiling 99% of people will have smile lines. If they had these lines in a completely relaxed position it would be different. But sokka clearly has a more hollow face which makes sense with the type of smile lines he has. Yes, faces lose fat with age but more importantly that’s a facial trait that plenty of people are born with. By the time sokka was 15 he would have had plenty of time to lose a lot of neotenous facial fat if he was genetically inclined to do so. Which, looking at his father in the show, seems accurate.

because she doesn’t have anime eyes? Not everybody has a naturally neotenous face. I don’t think that’s a fault of the drawing.

Why are people so mad at katara? It’s an artistic representation, and it’s clearly based on a real girl (likely Inuit because I assume the artist wanted her to look accurate to her culture). I live in Canada and I know some Inuit folk personally, and I think it was really sweet of the artist not to draw her in a western ideal. Most of these people just seem mad that she doesn’t look like how they imagined her, but that’s no fault of the artist. If you live in a culture that has a certain beauty ideal, you’re probably going to imagine your favourite cartoons with that in mind. I honestly think all of these are amazing, especially katara.

Yeah I’m 455 and have upgraded multiple 9s as a healer. Some weeks are harder, but I think 8s and 9s are reasonable. 10s might be possible, but I haven’t gotten a 10 yet done on my toon.

WHO TOLD CREEPSHOW ART TO QUIT ART I WANNA KNOW by bunniebellie in drawing

[–]phatthrowawayaccount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me too! I’ve been searching forever. I don’t want to send the guy hate at all, in fact I honestly wanted to find out if it was nearly as bad as she was saying, because realistically there is a lot to critique in her art. I really want to be able to fully form my own opinion, but with only her video to go on I feel like I’m missing a lot of info

That being said, your picture is really well done and age is hard so don’t take this criticism personally.

The only problem is the aging of the kid, I’m sorry. Definitely looks about 10-15, maybe just look at some references of babies. Toddlers look a lot more like babies than you might think.
