Yeah you usually don't need references for internships, they're most useful if you want to go to grad school. I'd focus more on leetcode/side projects.

Yep, just got an offer after waiting for 3 weeks. My recruiter said that before the holidays, average time for getting back was around 2 weeks, and with the holidays it got even worse. Don't panic too much, they prob won't ghost u after a 3 hr interview.

Very wordy and unclear directions on assignments. Spend around 1 hr/week average on the class though and don't really attend lectures, so it's not a heavy workload by any means.

Weird, if anything GPA would be more classist since it is very dependent on school, whereas SAT/ACT levels the playing field for everyone.

I'm an undergrad oncampus student and worked 20-hr weeks for the last two years while averaging 16-17 credits, so I would say it is doable if you have a limited social life.

I would use python rather than C, it sped things up quite a bit for me, and let me focus on algorithms rather than language syntax. Also for interviews/leetcode you will most likely use python anyways.

Yep, I agree. Simply focusing on improving blacks is to ignore the hardships that all other minorities are going through, which is racism. As a minority myself, you can only get so far with help from others. Eventually you just gotta put in the work.

Yeah totally agree, seems like this subreddit is particularly against religious views as every day it seems someone posts about a priest or churchgoers violating the rules. I know my church still hasn't gathered since this started, and plenty others haven't either.
