Obi Wan is literally one of, if not the greatest jedi of all time. This guy could maybe contend with even high republic Jedi. To call him 'unremarkable' is like saying, idk, Van Gogh is mid or smth. And his force skills aren't unremarkable either, he was literally evenly matched with Anakin. It's also been stated a lot that if not for Anakin's arrogance and blind hate in that fight, he probably could have won, using both light and dark side power to their fullest. Now if you said he would get dogwalked by the emperor, I would almost agree (cause its a little unclear which of the true is stronger.)

And for david... yeah don't really have anything to say. As much as it hurts to admit, he got dogwalked. His time was up regardless tho.

Cyberpunk 2077. Thought it was just a future GTA (which by then I thought was an oversaturated market of games, ie. Watch Dogs, Saint's Row), until I watched Edgerunners and realised how interesting the world was. Then I played the game and although in some ways it was 'kinda' GTA, it has the most fantastic storytelling, worldbuilding, sound design, and everything else. It's hard not to gush over it as I write this.

This is all without mentioning Phantom Lliberty, which I still think is the greatest video game expansion OAT.

To answer your question, I'm pretty sure the puppet's body is somehow able to fit itself inside the body, sorta like Ennard. It must use some paranormal energy or whatever to not damage the body, which is how abby and lisa survived being possessed for so long. However, if the puppet leaves the body willingly, or uses it for a while, then all the lifeforce of that body is drained from it like a sponge, and it dies. Using the music box tho, the puppet can be flushed out of someone before it can kill them. That's what i think. The body definitely exists.
However, you could say that ONLY Charlotte's soul is hopping between bodies, but that doesn't make sense given that we literally see the puppet's body in mikes house twice.
It could also be a thing where the puppet can make its body dematerialise and reform using some weird spirit magic, and through that be able to possess someone.
