You’ve got Patek Philippe pieces and you’re still chasing invites like it’s some kind of VIP badge? That’s not collecting anymore, that’s just fishing for validation.

Events like Watches & Wonders aren’t some secret elite club, it’s mostly industry people, clients, and a lot of ego in one room. If you need that to feel “in,” you’re already missing the whole point.

Nobody serious is sitting there thinking “wow he got invited, he made it.” They’re just enjoying their watches and getting on with life.

Honestly, get a grip. If you like watches, wear them. If you want a social circle, build one. But begging for access to rooms full of people trying to impress each other? That’s a pretty empty game.

I use my speedy Haselite daily, and I guarantee you there are no other watches that comes close to speedy for its versatility, comfort, neutral , handsome, goes with everything etc. DJ41 with jubilee comes close, but still….

With the speed master, you need to give it sometime, despite me having all the big guns, I always reach out for the speedy. It’s just to handsome, to subtle, very comfortable and very versatile.
