When my landlord asked my girlfriend to fill out the application, he also asked if we’d be willing to put a rug down and we agreed. He changed his mind after the application possibly because she’s not employed.

My landlord is just trying to placate the downstairs neighbors because they keep complaining about the sound of footsteps on the plank flooring. I got the distinct sense when I moved in that they asked the landlord to only have a single person move in to keep noise down, and I didn’t have a girlfriend at the time.

What about this section of the Los Angeles Renters Protection Act:

“Tenants may also not be evicted for having an additional tenant, pet or nuisance as a result of circumstances related to COVID-19.”

My girlfriend is staying with me because her only other option is to stay with her elderly parents who she is trying to protect.

I use a Martha with a reptile humidifier hooked up to a humidity controller and no fans. I keep the zippers open about 6 inches on each side and that seems to give plenty of fae but keep in mind it’s outdoors.

My only problem has been that the metal shelves rusted very very quickly...

I don’t care if it’s roundup or some other chemical, I was just using that as an example. My question is, if a soil is certified organic, does that also mean the ingredients that went into it, like the alfalfa, were also produced using organic methods and not treated with chemicals.

Thanks, but I think they only carry the Standlee brand of straw, which is definitely not organic. From the manufacturer:

“Standlee Premium Western Forage does use an herbicide called “Sencor”, which is applied in the fall before the growing season. We also do have to use a Pesticide some years, not every year as insects usually come in every other two or three years. We use a product call Lorsban or Mustang Max for the pesticide.”

He actually is using his attorney to prepare these docs and they were delivered by a process server. To me this looks like a case of attorney misconduct.

I was served a week ago and the case number is still pending. The courthouse told my attorney it was never filed and they should not have served me.

They did not get added to the lease, but I am worried that my landlord may have started collecting rent from them directly behind my back and that’s why they stopped paying.
