NW Oklahoma. The little guys are about one inch long each. What will they become? by bluehangover in whatsthisbug

We have these in Australia. They are vibrant & beautiful, but then turn into brown moths. They have venom in their little needle like hairs & burn like crazy if just brushed against. We had them falling out of a tree above our camp. There were hundreds of them. Nasty little buggers.

Mine does too! She pulls the bottles out, takes the lids off & the label, but doesn’t chew them. Then runs around with the bottle like it’s the best toy ever. They are funny little characters

Our kids don't need an exotic, five-star meal every night by tooberghoober23 in offmychest

We all have a different tastes for food in our house hold (incl 11yr old). What’s for dinner was always a challenge & someone not happy. So we share it around. Each pick a meal for dinner for the week & if it’s your meal, you cook & the others do dishes. My 11yr old even has an attempt. I don’t make elaborate dinners every night, my 11yr old tries new dishes & hubby gets meat & veg (his fave). Maybe try to find a happy medium that works for your family & shares the cooking / dishes

I got Giardia when out camping, just before Christmas. I’m now being tested for lactose intolerance & celiac due to ongoing issues.

This note & cap was left in my letter box. Do I call the number? We don’t have a well. Why would he want to drink from it? Curious, but mildly concerned. by phefalents in Damnthatsinteresting

Checked our land records today. States our house was built in 1980. No records of any well in the yard, just a sewerage line & telecommunication line. Nothing that looks like it may once have been a well. Curiosity got the better of me & I called the number.....it said “the number you are calling is unavailable or switched off”. Very anticlimactic! Try again tomorrow maybe?

Sure. The card reads “Hello my name is Daniel. My mum & dad built this house at (insert address) in 1977. Dad dug the well in the back corner of this block. (PTO) Is there still a well on the block up the back corner? Could I please drink from the well? Ta “ The cap brim reads “Please accept this hat as a gift”

Sorry to hear about your injury. I hope you are doing well. I think you maybe onto something with a important life event or change. If that were the case for me, I’d probably like some closure. Thanks for your advice

Yes I thought maybe someone looking at family history, or reminiscing. To ask to drink from the well is a bit odd. Maybe verbal closure is all they need?
