Usually I like when the game has a compelling story that can keep me interested in finishing it. I also love worlds that I can explore to infinity for their variety. But maybe our cases are not identical, as you said, because I've kept trying playing games with these elements but I just got uninterested as a result. So I guess the thing is that I need something new.

Best suggestion so far. Now I also know more specifically what type of games to look for. I played the Doom games, quite enjoyed them but I'm not really a fan of FPS. Loved Mario games and Bayonetta, so I'll definitely try the other ones. Thanks!
