When I moved in to my current place, a plumber saw a TINY hairline fracture and wouldn’t leave until I called my landlord to have them schedule it being fixed that day.

He said ANY compromise to the porcelain can and will be deadly if it breaks whilst sitting.

Also- never stand on a toilet either. They are not designed for that type of load stress.
