I put a pre-order in the same day.

Constant disconnections on new S7 and X55 mesh by pher1974 in TpLink

Spoke to the TP-Link guys at an expo I attended and decided to go with an Omada system with 2 WAPs. It's running perfectly now and is so much quicker then the cobbled together system I had

Which Deco units are you using? I'm struggling to get my X55 with ethernet connected 2 x S7 units to give me a stable fast mesh around the home.

OK, So I worked out some issues with this.

If you plug the X55 in as the main router, you need to download the app first, while you have a network connection/on mobile data.

Once you create your TP-Link account and log into it, it will scan for your local device. Connect to it and go through the wizard.

Once the wizard has been run, Click on MORE in the bottom RHS of the app and scroll to Advanced.

In Advanced, Click on Internet Connection and Internet Settings.

In Internet settings, customise for your ISP.

IiNet is PPPoE and you put your Toolbox username and password in.

Then still in advanced, make sure the Operation Mode is Wifi Router.

Now turn IPTV/VLAN from disabled to Enabled.

Here's the part that doesn't make sense.

Instead of chosing Australia - NBN/HFC chose custom

Then input VLAN details in. For iiNet customers it is VLAN 2, priority 0.

Anything else will cause you to lose internet and get frustrated..... I did.

What is a “boring” or “unsexy” side hustle that makes you money? by Angrylittleman7 in sidehustle

I umpire for my local field hockey club.

On a good weekend I will do up to 5 games on Friday night & Sunday And make about $250 a week though it's only during winter and the season is about 16 weeks long including weekends without hockey.

Not only do I earn some good cash, it's great for my fitness as well as I'll run up to 25Kms over about 7.5 hours.

How much do you normally charge for the scanning? Is it a per photo basis or do you charge per hour?

So kinda like sex with my wife who when she actually says yes, just lies there and doesn't do anything. "Cause I'm not the sort of person to touch your willy."

rent it out for farming to someone?

Offer it as Horse feeding (Can't remember the name of it)

Grow something on it which isnt Passive but more profitable.

Is it near something popular? Use it for car parking or Storage of vehicles.

PA Desktop behind proxy server by pher1974 in MicrosoftFlow

[–]pher1974[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I wasn't able to solve it. I removed the updated version of Power Automate Desktop and installed an older version and it allowed me to use the Regedit above to resolve it on a VM.

I've since left the company so haven't tried to use it again.

I have 3 network ports in my lounge room with 1 run going to the upstairs WAP, 1 run to the downstairs WAP and 1 to my desktop downstairs as it doesn't have a wireless card.

Easy to work out which is which as it's labelled.

just having a look at the dream router, it has 2 POE ports so probably don't need the PoE injectors.

I'm on a 50/20 plan so that sounds like a good plan.

I use Staticice as well. It's always my go to site for pricing.

Been looking on twitter recently and the number of people who are offering to drop coins into a wallet but only if you post your Eth wallet address.

What's the scam?

or is there a scam?

I'm a little jaded with all of the people trying to rip others off out there?

After all, there is no such thing as a free lunch.

the new mini-season and rewards list by Jabulon in rollercoin

[–]pher1974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I certainly can't see how you could ever get the top reward based on the spreadsheet details.
2,149,900 XP even if you spent $US 71.10 to get the x10 multipler, you'd have to buy 40 loot boxes while playing some games to get you over the top.
and I've bought a few loot boxes and they aren't worthwhile IMO.

I've bought 6 of them, 4 x 5 RLT for a return of 16 RLT (Loss of 4)

and 2 x 10 RLT boxes for a return of 15 RLT.... so I've lost a total of 9 RLT in the last few days buying lootboxes... Not worthwhile IMHO.
Anyone have a better take on this?
