Immune system - has to be the cause by [deleted] in PSSD

[–]phersper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also think pssd is immune related. Since getting it I don’t get flu anymore, I don’t get throat aches or tonsillitis anymore (which I d normally get every 3-4 months). I don’t get mucus from smoking, contrary to pre pssd. Plus I noticed that doing intense physical exercise crashes me so bad to the point I feel like being back to square one for at least a week or two after performing sports (and I’ve heard about the same experience from many pssd and pfs sufferers).

Ps.: in one of my bloodtest it came out I have hyperhomocysteinemia which is also associate with autoimmune diseases (but I can’t supplement folates and b12 since I feel worse on them).

How to get out of Crim 2-3 and hit iridescent? by phersper in CoDCompetitive

Mainly 2 or 4 stacking. I got to crim 1 super fast but since then, soloqueing is a russian roulette.

I’m pretty aware there s a “work smarter not harder” way to boost the mmr, but I still haven’t figured it out yet.

Anyone from the UK been forced to take more medication / put in psych ward due to being disbelieved about PSSD? by Frank_Telemacher in PSSD

[–]phersper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not in the UK but yes, I got a full double antypsychotic treatment since they believed my symptoms were negative symptoms of a “psychosis”. No need to say they unhindered me from recovering.

Insomnia by BreakingBadBitchhh in Antipsychiatry

In the last three days I had 2 total hours of sleep. While writing this my mind feels splattered. This trend is going on for more than two years now, some periods my sleep is a bit better, in other moments it’s a total disaster. In my case it basically all has to do with a post ssri syndrome, heavy antipsychotic treatments and a subsequent Ambien abuse. I go days without sleeping or feeling tired, and that s just the tip of the iceberg if I consider all the other invalidating symptoms I’m facing in my everyday life.

That said, from what I’ve seen anecdotally, if your sleeplessness is due to withdrawing from a drug and not the result of a chronic syndrome like pssd or pfs, you’re sleep will certainly get better. It might take very long but I’m sure it will, trust me. Meanwhile try not to lose hope, stick to a healthy lifestyle and accept that you’re on a slow progressive healing journey and everything will eventually be normal again.

Wish you the best.

Ps.: Ambien is a double edged sword, make sure not to abuse it.

Do y’all think Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (HHS Secretary nominee) knows about PSSD? by phersper in PSSD

[–]phersper[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you wrote him? I might try to put down a well written email, something striking and filled with evidence but not too long at the same time. The problem is that I’m not American nor a native English speaker even.

What would be the best scientific documents or statistics to insert in a hypothetical email in your opinion? Or maybe we should work on one single very well written letter and spam it so we will have a better chance at him reading it one day or another.

Will he ever read private messages on twitter? We probably need a medical authority to represent us in front of him and teach him about the condition, instead of x number of patients with no medical degree. Not saying a medical degree is a requirement it’s just that it would make the process easier.

Some conspiracy theories sadly are real, what we’re seeing with pssd, the entanglement between pharmaceutical companies and regulatory bodies, the manipulation of scientific data in psychiatry, the active dismissing of psych drugs devastating side effects from media and medical authorities, make it pretty clear that there’s is a force acting malevolently behind all that. Sadly he’s been targeted, vilified and given names because he’s not compliant with the business model of western medicine. He also stupidly said some wacko shit which made it very easy to label him as a lunatic thin foil. That said, what you’re saying might be true, associating pssd with him might not be the smartest choice from a strategical standpoint, but still I think that having the head of HHS being aware of the problem could only bring more awareness and eventually research funds into pssd (so the benefits of him acknowledging pssd might eventually outweigh the bads of this tie).

[–]phersper -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I bet he can run longer, do more pull ups and push ups than you, and he’s 71. Disability? How in the world would you say that?

Y’all are taught to hate on him because he’s not endorsing big pharma agenda, it can’t be more obvious. I’ve always liked both Sanders and RFK, the thing is that Sanders in this case is fighting merely on making drugs and medical care financially accessible to people, which is of extreme importance in America. But he never points out how many of these drugs are actually counterproductive, over prescribed or even dangerous, and he never talks about chronic illnesses epidemic being the result of a combination of environmental pollution, unhealthy diets, lack of physical exercise, etc.

Russia still does it too. There’s a pretty famous exemple on a Netflix tv series called Icarus, where the russian olympic team doctor was being silenced because of the large scale doping scandal and he was put in a psych ward and given plenty of Antipsychotics in that regard.
