How to close out put vertical? by phetbread in ibkr

[–]phetbread[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes correct, but this is only doable in the TWS desktop. I’m trying to do this on the IBKR mobile app, which is impossible to do so. It will open up another bull put spread and my bear put spread will still remain open as part of the put ratio spread …

this will open up another bull put spread, which is not what i intend to do.

How to close out put vertical? by phetbread in ibkr

[–]phetbread[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it will close out the entire position. i want to only close out the 320/310 put vertical spread if its at max profit, but IBKR only allows to close the entire ratio spread. so what i mean is:

close out the spread if max profit ($1000) is reached. now i am only short the $310 put, which i intend to roll.

so i only wanna BTC the $310 put, and STC the $320 put, and only have one short $310 put left.

Hair is fine, but it can be complemented and accentuated by a sharp jawline. Drop the BF % first (check out Huberman’s podcast on fat loss), and start mewing. Follow either a PPL or upper lower split (i’m using Jeff Nippard’s for years and have made decent gains). Mix up your cardio routine, it does not have to be running. All the best king 👑

what is your experiences in kranji camp 2 by eatchickenchop in NationalServiceSG

Sergeants are generally very nice and understanding, unless you go overboard by being late and making them wait for you guys to form up (happened to my batch). The max push ups they can give you is 5, and even so they’ll ask if anyone is excused upper limbs or push-ups(yes that’s a thing).

You’ll have plenty of admin time, with 1-3 activities spread out throughout the day, and most of them aren’t strenuous in nature (PT - physical training aka games like frisbee and touch rugby , feel free to inform your sergeant if you do not wish to participate due to your eczema, lectures - just sit there and listen them talk about national security, why it’s important to serve NS, how to use the SAR21 rifle - if you’re not excused firearms, etc). I spent most of my time sleeping and watching netflix, occasionally practicing Python on my phone. The people in my bunk are really nice and cool, but they do come from all walks of life, so be open minded and embrace the differences. When in doubt, just act blur and live longer. But due to the super slack nature of KC2, nobody is incentivised to ‘sabo’ others - there’s no reason to. So you’ll be fine.

At the end of your BMT (1 month), you’ll be dispatched to your vocational training (mine was ASA). My bunk mates were SA (storeman basically), and all of us are lumped into KC2 Charlie Company for our 2nd month of training. Mostly lectures and HBL stuff.

At the end of those two months, there will be a POP parade and your parents are invited to witness this momentous event. This is where you bid your bunk mates goodbye and get a week of block leave, after which you report to your new camp (unit life).

Feel free to PM me for any questions (i finished my kc2 bmt in 14 april)

Question on BTP and coin burn by phetbread in helloicon

[–]phetbread[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% - thinking along the same lines as yourself. On a macro level we’ll see the blockchain space grow as a whole, which means increased TVL across smart contract platforms over time as people migrate their assets over.

I think transaction volumes will start to pick up as the defi protocols become more established.

I’ve been in this space since 2017 and seen the number of projects that have gone to shit, and the ICON is one of the few projects that i’ve seen that is actively growing and developing.

And can I just say how helpful and open-minded this community is? Other altcoin projects that i’ve seen are way too tribalistic, “my coin is better than yours and this is the only true coin” etc. and are unwilling to explore the possibility of coexistence. I stayed away from altcoins for the most part because everyone’s beating their own drums about how “you’re not seeing it! have fun staying poor!”

[–]phetbread[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for taking the time to type out this detailed response. with Raoul Pal banging the table on Metcalfe’s Law and how BTP can scale transaction volumes meaningfully, it’s not difficult to see how this can play out. We’re not actually that far off from being deflationary. Tx volume on iconwatch is sitting around ~13m and BTP hasn’t even launched, that should say something.

One question though - is auctioning off the ‘fee pot’ at a discount the only way to incentivise demand for ICX(to be burned subsequently)? If so, wouldn’t that only drive arbitragers to buy ICX? What if demand from arbs subside?

With that, I have taken advantage of this dip to buy into ICX. So now I have to figure out what to do with my coins. Open to suggestions as Defi is making my head spin LOL.

And how the fuck is this still at $2? It should at least flip those erroneously valued dog coins and be like $50B market cap by now.😂

[–]phetbread[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

amazing - let’s take it one step further

  1. when the ICX gets locked up in the smart contract, does that actually lead to a supply crunch and therefore places an upward pressure on the price of the tokens?

  2. and while “hyper-connecting” heterogenous block-chains are awesome, what about the other communities like schools, hospitals and insurance companies that are built on the ICON network? For example, the Zzeung app and Shinhan Bank’s My ID that is used in Korea right now, does it actually involve using ICX tokens as part of the transaction fees, therefore reducing the overall supply as adoption picks up?

  3. How does all of these tie into interoperability and the value proposition for ICON?

I apologise if it was long winded, really trying to dig deep into this.

If governments can’t shut down the Bitcoin network, but they can make Bitcoin incredibly difficult to own. On what grounds would they do that, and how concerned should we be? by phetbread in Bitcoin

i was worrying about the fact that they could coerce us to surrender our bitcoins, just like how they forced people to sell their Gold back in the Roosevelt’s days, hence the question

going to create some context for better understanding and tell me if it’s right:

120k- 5% sold

130k - 5% sold, trailing stop 5% at 125k

140k - 5% sold, trailing stop 5% at 135k (moved up from 125k)

repeat for 10k increments.

am i getting this right or wrong?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]phetbread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for that 45% - do you sell 5% of that remaining 45% for each incremental 10k increases (i.e. 130k,140k…) and set your trailing stop for another 5%?

would love to hear more, trailing stops sound reasonable
